I agree with this. Army appears to be on the same page right now. Unless they are waiting for a better time but i think that time has passed already

I am not concerned what you think my pretense is. I was neutral but I will not stand by idly and support people who fire on my countrymen. You want to protect these animals and buildings over people that is your choice. To me human life comes first.

Army is protecting the President House (being a symbol of the federation), where the army personnel would have most likely fired tear gas to disperse a mob that attack it.
