Golden Words of IK "When I joined cricket team, team was divided into 4 political groups. I worked hard for 10 years to unite Pakistani team as One Nation then the Nation won the WORLD CUP in one go!! This is how I will unite this nation and make it win on all the other nations"

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Truth of Matter is IK has exhausted all the routes and hence he is where he is right now...

It's easier to sit and talk should have done this, should have done that....

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

So far IK has refused to follow democratic norms. Follow the constitution. Follow orders from the SC. Amazing really.

Right now even the Army is saying so.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Today their innocent little King admitted in the assembly that 'we knew there was rigging in 2008, but we accepted PPP's government'. Seriously? What kind of absolutely effed up concept of democracy is this? Doesn't he and his followers know the ringing is the single biggest crime you can against democracy. If there is rigging, there is no democracy. If there is rigging, there is no such thing as legitimate government. It's just another form of dictatorship and slavery. Was that tard hoping that these paladins of democracy will cheer him for his cowardice and moral duplicity? Is this the kind of desensitization they want the nation to adopt towards rigging?

I think Pakistan is at the verge of getting out of dark ages, can't guarantee any change in the mentality of older generation or those who are the direct beneficiaries of this rotten crime ridden system. But soon, the young will realize that democracy is more than just having periodic elections (even if rigged) and swapping one family rule with another family rule.

Army wants immediate political settlement - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

Well who is left to say IK is creating a mess of things?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

read my post again. I said working relationship on all issues. rigging, rigging, rigging... sun sun ke kaan pak gae awaam ke. ok agreed, elections were rigged, not only in Punjab but also in other provinces. But PTI is still stuck up with KPK government and whats their cabinet is doing for 2 weeks in Islamabad is all known. At least, they should not have kept that front empty and open for criticism. A party which campaign for changes in 90 days, wasting 15 days without serving the people who voted for them. IDPs are the main problem and should be looked after in their areas by the government. But we are hearing news of deaths in Peshawer and watching maut ke farishte ka naach in Islamabad. Is this the change PTI people are proud of?

There should be priorities. For me PTI's priority should have been performance in KPK. Their prority should have been IDPs and solution of their problems. Jab ghar main aag lagti hai, dushman ke hamle ka jawab dia ja raha hota hai to uss waqt ye sawal nahin uthaya jata ke baRe bhai aap ne meri majj churai thi, ab majj se dastbardar ho. If IDP issue triggers back the terrorists, then Allah hi hafiz hai majj ka bhi aur majj ke mailkon ka bhi.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Define 'working relationship' in Pakistani politics. Go on.

In case you mean Imran should've personally travelled to places like 9-0, Dubai, Edgware Road, Bilawal House, Mullah's Fazlu's madrassah to build working relations (this is how working relationships are built in Pakistani politics, right) then you are delusionally mistaken. You think his supporters would've forgiven him for cosying up to these murdered and thugs under the umbrella of 'issues'? His lousy, opportunistic, hate filled critics would've also accused him of joining hands with every power hungry criminal and conspiring to oust the so called elected PM in the name of justice, just like they are doing now.

As far as factual timeline goes for those who just woke from their long hard sleep because some rich kids' street party in Islamabad, PTI raised this debate in the Parliament and they didn't get any support, PTI went to the courts, they didn't get any reply, PTI openly invited all parties to back his cause, they didn't get much backing, and to be honest, Imran probably wasn't even banking on their support to begin with. And why should he? He never needed nor ever accepted these political partnership at the start of his career, now he's a head of Pakistan's second largest party with a massive youth support. He certainly doesn't need them at all now. No need to act so innocent, it's common sense. Why would parties like MQM support free and fair elections and why on earth would PPP raise a word to oppose dynastic nepotism? What makes Imran Khan, Imran Khan is the fact that he's perfectly capable of taking his own initiative, and fighting it alone till the end. Likes of Khourshid Shah as an opposition leader had the moral obligation to lend his party's full committed support to Imran Khan's legitimate demands in proper conservative manner, but as expected, he deliberately missed the opportunity and that's his fault. The blame lies on him, not on Imran.

And please, you may be desensitized by rigging and cannot be bothered to give a hoot. That's your problem. But don't drag 'awaam' into it. Unless you invited 180 million people to tea in your house and had their opinions recorded. Those who actually know a thing or two about democracy cannot for the life of them accept rigging in any shape or form. It's a height of hypocrisy to shed crocodile tears over what happened to Fatima Jinnah in 1965 elections, but when the same curse is inflicted upon Pakistanis today, we gladly turn turn blind eye and resort to self pleasing cynicism for sake of it.

I have made my point quite clear in one of my earlier responses to your post that I in no way appreciate Khattak's presence in the March. As with KPK's performance, it is actually PTI's bad luck that Imran's personality absolutely dominates the media and the journos are more interested in settling politica; scores against him, that sadly hardly any focus is given whatever good the party is doing in KPK. Having a good PR in the media is certainly not PTI's main priority.

repetition.. meetha meetha hup hup, kaRwa kaRwa thoo thoo. As if truth was only revealed to PTI and its supporters and they are the only well wishers of peopel of Pakistan. kaan pak gae. sorry.. not interested in these dharnas and arguments in their support. carry on

Once again IK is saying Ch. Iftikhar was a part of election rigging. Just two days back he submitted in court that he never said that and praised him highly for so many things.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Good. Stuff some cotton balls in your ears and go to sleep!

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

oh please. why don't you send these cotton balls to KPK cabinet, jin ki aankhen andhi hain Peshawer main hui amwaat ko dekhne per.. jin ke kaan behre hain IDPs ki cheekhen sunene ke liye, so that they can concentrate more on thes ejihadi dharnas.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Errr, not sure how cotton balls would be able to solve any of that. But whatever, I'll still contact the DHL guy.

That news has been called a lie (about him praising Ch. Ifti and what not). IK said he supported Ch when he took a stand against Musharraf.
