The 30 day leave wont require a re-oath if he returns, as its not a resignation. But hes rightly worried the audit will uncover all the junk PMLN has been selling the country in the name of fair elections.

Clever move by PTI by showing calculated flexibility. Clearly the aim of these talks is to enhance the deadlock while still filling the civil formalities of maintaining dialogues. Now government has refused accept something that's not in anyway drastically unconstitutional, it obviously indicates that they are not serious about bringing this whole thing to a logical and peaceful end. In this case, pressure will ultimately be on the government to get a breakthrough.
This is clearly not about protesters in Red Zone. People have started giving dharnas in major cities, sectarian outfits, party hooligans have been invited to take part by government in some kind of 'counter revolution'. So really, the deadlock cannot be maintained for long.

Today PTI broke negotiations on a very illogical demand. According to them, PMLN government can stay, cabinet can stay but PM should resign. PMLN agreed to all conditions for a transparent investigation by Supreme Court judges into PTI allegations regarding organized rigging in 2013 elections. Yet they want PM NS to resign to have fair investigation. Wouldn’t nominee of NS in PM office have same power as NS? Any change for 30 days would make Pakistan look an unstable country. We agreed on mechanism for electoral reforms too but fail to understand why PTI isn’t focusing on issues instead of making personality clash. National Assembly and Senate have passed unanimous resolutions for PM NS to not resign. PTI must not isolate itself and show egoistic politics to nation.

**Dharna was to be a shock- awe move. People’s waves upon PM House, army refusing to fire. Mission achieved. **It wasn’t meant to be trench warfare. Script went hugely wrong.
