Impressive crowd is already gathering in Lahore and Karachi. The whole movement is well poised to gain momentum and become a nation wide struggle.
The last thing Nawas League and their supporters need is solid Middle Class movement involving youth and women to stand up against this rotten oligarchic regime.

Precedence exists in many many many organizations. If there is credible proof of wrongdoing under a chairman/IG/PM etc, he is suspended with pay until the matter is resolved. Problem is that this guy is scared $hitless that if he resigns or even goes on a month's leave, that may be the last time he ever sees his beloved kursi.

Precedence exists in many many many organizations. If there is credible proof of wrongdoing under a chairman/IG/PM etc, he is suspended with pay until the matter is resolved. Problem is that this guy is scared $hitless that if he resigns or even goes on a month's leave, that may be the last time he ever sees his beloved kursi.

He won't resign for 30 minutes, let alone 30 days. Since he's already a third curse on Pakistan, he won't be allowed to take his fourth premiership oath to come back. That's my understand.

The 30 day leave wont require a re-oath if he returns, as its not a resignation. But hes rightly worried the audit will uncover all the junk PMLN has been selling the country in the name of fair elections.
