That was part of the reason why PTI lost election in 2013 b/c of IK’s dictatorial management style. In fact, according its own report internal party election were held 3 weeks before general elections & everyone opposed to this idea, but IK overrode core committee’s decision. He argued that PTI will win b/c of last minute surge of support for PTI, but instead IPE created big rift in party & losing candidates moved to other parties…or stayed home. And new people with no name recognition were given 3 weeks time to campaign for general elections & almost all of them lost across the country.
