Today their innocent little King admitted in the assembly that ‘we knew there was rigging in 2008, but we accepted PPP’s government’. Seriously? What kind of absolutely effed up concept of democracy is this? Doesn’t he and his followers know the ringing is the single biggest crime you can against democracy. If there is rigging, there is no democracy. If there is rigging, there is no such thing as legitimate government. It’s just another form of dictatorship and slavery. Was that tard hoping that these paladins of democracy will cheer him for his cowardice and moral duplicity? Is this the kind of desensitization they want the nation to adopt towards rigging?
I think Pakistan is at the verge of getting out of dark ages, can’t guarantee any change in the mentality of older generation or those who are the direct beneficiaries of this rotten crime ridden system. But soon, the young will realize that democracy is more than just having periodic elections (even if rigged) and swapping one family rule with another family rule.
