United boss Sir Alex Ferguson makes five changes as Johnny Evans, Michael Carrick and Michael Owen drop to the bench. Nemanja Vidic, Nani, Paul Scholes, Fabio and John O’Shea are the players who come in. Striker Wayne Rooney and midfielder Darren Fletcher have also remained in England. CSKA Moscow are without former Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez, who has been ruled out for the year with an ankle injury.
