Teemu Tainio has overcome a calf injury to start for Birmingham along with Keith Fahey as the midfield pair come in to replace Stephen Carr and Lee Carsley. Richard Dunne, James Collins and Stephen Warnock make their Aston Villa debuts in defence as Habib Beye, Nicky Shorey and Ciaran Clark make way.1141: “The referee is going to have a tough job. He could have a problem keeping 11 on the pitch from us and them.” So says Birmingham midfielder Franck Queudrue, enjoying a bit of pre-derby banter.
