0052: It’s pretty hard to pick this one - a double-fault and an error from Dulko hand Ivanovic two break points and the Serb plays a blistering forehand cross-court winner. After six breaks of serve it comes down to a tie-break. And third seed Djokovic lets a break slip away against Chiudinelli on Laver.0049: As you were, Ian. Ivanovic double-faults and then plays a woeful drop volley that sits up and begs to be put away. Dulko obliges and the Argentine will serve for the set.0043: I’m already fond of day four but day three captured heart. After a busy night I got home to catch the end of Murray’s match, beforethe brilliance of Henin and Dementievakept me unexpectedly awake along withthe drama of Delpo v Blake. And that was all before Marin Cilic required until 2am to beat Aussie teenager Bernard Tomic. “I feel very tired,” was Cilic’s main thought after a match that lasted almost four hours. At least he didn’t have to get a bus home.0041: Maybe not, Ian. Ivanovic suddenly finds the kind of form that won her a French Open and made her world number one, albeit briefly. The Serb breaks to love and then reels off what must be her best service game for a year, smacking down an ace to lead 5-4. And Davydenko is now 5-2 up on Marchenko.0039: “Supporting Ana is just too painful these days…”
From Ian via text****mollie5555 on Twitter:](http://twitter.com/mollie5555)“what! not even any dealerettes”
0036: Don’t worry, Ni-Dav fans, your man is back on track at 3-2 and remains on track for the Federer quarter-final showdown, which I’m already excited about. Djokovic is on serve on Laver, Baghdatis and Ferrer are 2-2 on Hisense, and birthday girl Laura Robson is 5-3 up against Craybas and Spears. Sally Peers might be helping her a bit.
0028: It’s another let-down as far as celebrities go, I’m sorry to report. Swimmers, TV hosts, AFL players. AFL players! I ask you. The real glamour is out on Court Two and we have an early surprise as Davydenko is broken by Ukrainian Marchenko in game three. Ivanovic misses a break-back point and trails Dulko 4-1.0018: Ivanovic plays a much better second service game but Dulko, sporting a sort of burnt orange number, leads 2-1. And Gary, you are probably already asleep and heading to Aberdeen or Penzance.
0016: “Maybe had a couple of sherbets too many tonight. When do any Brits play today, is it worth me staying awake for a while and then sleeping at my station before heading back to the City in a few short hours”
From Gary, sitting on a train home, via text****0015: “I just hope Ivanovic-Dulko ends 7-6 6-7 12-10… Dont care who wins!”
From Stewie in Reading via text****0011: I nearly forgot the all-important coverage details. I will be honing my typing and tea-making skills throughout the night, obviously, while the 5 live team will be giving regular updates on Up All Night. The feature match at 0800 GMT on the red button, website and 5 live sports extra will be Roger Federer v Victor Hanescu.
0009: The sun is beating down on a packed Margaret Court Arena and it sounds like there is a rowdy bunch in to watch as Ivanovic makes a nervous start, double-faulting on her way to dropping serve to love.
0005: There’s no rest for British legend Elena Baltacha as she teams up with Latvian Liga Dekmeijere to open the action on Court 7 against Aleksandra Wozniak and Lucie Safarova, while Sarah Borwell and American Raquel Kops-Jones are about to take on Petra Martic and Polona Hercog on Court 13. And Laura Robson celebrates her 16th birthday by teaming up with Aussie Sally Peer against Jill Craybas and Abigail Spears.0001: As I say, there is unexpected interest from my departing football colleagues about the opening match on Margaret Court Arena between Dulko and Ivanovic. “I didn’t know you were a fan of women’s tennis,” I say. “I’m not,” one responds, hurrying out the door.
2358: Djokovic opens proceedings on Rod Laver Arena against Marco Chiudinelli in a few moments, while in-form title contender Nikolay Davydenko sees his star quality showcased on Court Two against Illya Marchenko. Marcos Baghdatis and David Ferrer have got five sets written all over them on Hisense Arena, and Ana Ivanovic versus Gisela Dulko is attracting some attention on Margaret Court Arena.2357: We also have Roger Federer, the Williams sisters, Lleyton Hewitt, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga… it’s everywhere. I demand that yousend me your thoughts through Twitter](http://twitter.com/piersnewbery)or via **text on 81111 (UK) and +44 7786200666 (worldwide).**2355: Hello again. Haunted by the tortured face of Vera Dementieva as she watched her daughter pummelled by Justine Henin, it was another day of fitful sleep for me. However, the imminent appearance of my tip for the title has sharpened my senses. Novak Djokovic, my reputation is in your hands…
