From Rob in Derby, via text: “Comfortable win for Chelsea - Reading to shock Burnley - Tottenham to win narrowly against Leeds - Palace to shock Wolves!”

Referee: Andy D’Urso (Essex)themib on Twitter:](http://twitter.com/themib)“I’m thinking Sheffield United and Notts County are the most likely cupsets today.”
1226: BBC Sport’s Phil McNulty at Deepdale: “The fog shrouding Preston this morning has lifted but it is still a murky scene at Deepdale for Darren Ferguson’s first home game in charge - and a nice easy opener for him. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti tinkers as he gives Henrique Hilario an outing in goal and Yuri Zhirkov comes in for Ashley Cole. Daniel Sturridge partners Nicolas Anelka in attack. Joe Cole on the bench - surely this game would have been perfect for him Deepdale may be fully rebuilt now, but plenty of reminders of this great old club’s rich history remain - and rightly so.”
1223: I want you lot to get involved as well you know. Of course I do. You know the drill:Be sweet and drop me a Tweet on Twitter,](http://twitter.com/chrisbevan_bbc)text me via 81111 (UK) or +44 7786200666 (international), join the chat on606.](http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A62259834)
From Dean_Machine89 on 606:](http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A62259834)“Hopefully Man Utd can capitalise on the opportunity to go top of the table, with Chelsea and Arsenal playing in the Champions League. This season when we have had the chance to go top we have dropped points.” I think Dean_Machine89 actually means the FA Cup here… at least, I hope he does.
1219: So does the Cup still matter to you I hope so - it does to me. But I know one place that won’t be getting into the spirit of things today - Old Trafford. That’s because Manchester United were victims of one of the biggest shocks in the competition’s recent history when they lost at home to Leeds in round three, they are free to play Hull (who were knocked out by Wigan) in the Premier League instead (at 1500 GMT). A win will send Sir Alex Ferguson’s men top.
1217: There are 14 ties today, starting with Preston against holders Chelsea and Reading versus Burnley, which both kick off at 1245 GMT, and we finish off with Tottenham v Leeds at 1715 GMT. Magic I hope so.1214: Yep, as you’ve probably seen or heard, the Carling Cup gave us a few semi-finalthrillsandspillsearlier in the week. Wasn’t bad, was it And now to find out what the FA Cup has got in stall for us on fourth-round weekend…
1210: Domestic cup competitions are rubbish aren’t they Boring and predictable - no wonder managers, players and fans can’t really be bothered with them anymore. Er, hang on a minute…
