BBC Sport’s Andrew Benson in Bahrain: "Sebastian Vettel’s pole lap was described by Michael Schumacher as ‘fantastic’, and he was not the only person surprised by Red Bull’s pace. One senior figure at a rival team told me that he thought Red Bull had been ‘sand-bagging’ - disguising their true pace - throughout winter testing, and would walk the race this afternoon. Others think the car will be vulnerable to the Ferraris because it wears its tyres too much."1013: Morning all. It’s finally here. After months of waiting, the Bahrain Grand Prix is within touching distance. Excited Thought so. In case you missed qualifying yesterday - tut tut, where were you - here’s a quick summary. Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel is the man on pole, with the Ferrari duo of Felipe Massa and two-time champion Fernando Alonso behind him.
