Just out of curiosity…how many desi ppl live alone?..on their own?.. and why?..wut were the circumstances?..school?..work?..came as a refugee?..wanted in ur hometown? 
I live alone…and have been living alone for the past 6 years..and looooove it!..reason being…parents moved back to S. Arabia…

Millions of pakisanis are living alone in Middle East (& other parts of world) & living there because to earn bread & butter.

Living alone...as in NOT married....and NOT living with a married sister or brother...all alone...on your own...

Because i'v come to university and it was either travel for 2 hours every morning and evening or live away from home. And at the moment i don't like it...... i had to spend Eid by myself.

As NOT married, I lived alone for 8 years in different counrties, working mostly. Then got married & now live with my wife & children.

I live alone as in no relatives, but i have 4 housemates

I lived 'alone' in Uni. But I wouldnt say thats really living on your own because parents are still supporting you financially, and you live in a communal system.

I live alone although it was quite creepy and daunting in the beginning... but I am settled now!

I'm so used to living alone now...I don't think I can live with family anymore...I mean I want my parents to be here...but there's just some things that I'm so used to...which would be hard to let go...

I am living alone from last 12 or 13 yrs now, reason being college, UNi and then job away from home. for few yrs its good but in long term if u get used to of it and IF sum1 moves in then it can be a bit tricky. I mean I like things in MY way, and have certain rules about daily life. One is for sure, living with me is ain't easy.

In the past when i was poor and couldnt afford to live on my own, i had no choice but to live with roomates. But now i live on my own, i love the solitude and peace of mind.
