The United kingdom line up is way more appealing than Philadelphia one. I am watching it on ARY and they keep switching between variuos ones. They repated U2 performance and it was niceeeeeeee!!

I did not know that U2, Madonna and Shakira etc. are the most poor people in the world. Really. But again, they might be the poorest. Who knows. They must have performed well to seek the attention of the world to the real cause. For that very reason, everyone is talking about them - The Poverty -

Am I the only one that sees the stupidity in all this? You want to help Africa, each one of these rock stars can donate 1 million dollars (peanuts compared to what they earn) and help buy food and medicine. But they rather do a publicity stunt that helps boost their reputation and will increase record sales.
Though it is truly amazing that Pink Floyd got back together for this.

^ CM the thing is that yes every rock star pop star and super star can do that but rather than looking at it as a publicity stunt, try looking as an attempt to get together on a platform and try to raise voice unanimously.
And yeah Pink floyd thing is quite big. I hope they sing 'comfortably numb' (in case they havent already done so and I missed it)

Actually said it is not. There has been no donations to Africa. They have all be aid linked with conditionalities or NGOs peddling agendas. It is nothing more than a publicity stunt which will not help Africa at all. I also love the fact that these concerts have no African stars nor they are taking place in Africa which could use the influx of money.
This is just another way for the rich to have fun and entertain themselves under the guise of a moralistic and just concept.

^ Rather than criticizing thier efforts (or whatever you dub it), try doing an effort in this regard and in case you dont do this, do not judge their intentions or whatever.
Yes they might be doing in a less noble way but try acknolwiding the motives rather than attempting sarcasm which doesnt seem to be your best quality.

I dont know that but at least I am not raising eye brows or anything and using ‘jazak allah’ sarcastically targetted at anyone who claims to implement it.
I like the idea but execution has left a lot to be desired.
