Re: Little things that matter...
^ I agree with that too. Why the heck are you blaming a woman for trying to save her marriage, by referring to her actions as "emotional blackmail"???

Re: Little things that matter...
firstly no one has given a good reason yet why the heck this story is in the religious section .....
secondly i call it emotional blackmail from a worldy perspective thats what i meant by " nay deen kay na dunya kay"
firstly this guy committed a crime like adultry ....now from a purely worldy perspective he shud be stonehearted enuf to brush aside the tactics used by his wife and move in with his GF ....but he was fickleminded ...he couldnt decide what he wanted .....so in the end he
1-committed a huge sin
2-nearly destroyed his family
3-gave false promises to another woman of marriage
yet the only focus is on the "getting togather " of the wife and husband ...well guess what this has nothing to with religion a atheist couple will have similar feelings in such a situation as well, unless u self-righteous people r going to claim that it only muslims who have such warm tender feelings ...surely its taken from a hippie leftist tree huggers "muslim" websites that r sprouting like mushrooms these days
bro Teggy i respect ur opinion and broadly speaking i dont disagree with it either , but i hope u see that my objection is that the emphasis here is misplaced
Re: Little things that matter...
haha. good stuff Das Reich :D. The moment I read "Dew" I drew the same conclusion you did.
Re: Little things that matter...
I want to ask few questions from the writer of the story (not the thread starter)
But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; I had lost my heart to a lovely girl called Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!
You couldn't give her a satisfactory answer ?!?! Yes ofcourse, it is very difficult to explain to your wife when you LOSE YOUR HEART TO a "**LOVELY" **girl. Isn't it ?
By the way, how lovely was she ?? Did you observe her too closely ? Like the way you would want your wife to observe other men ?!?! Ask your wife if she has ever come across a "LOVELY" boy for whom she felt like losing her heart ?!
WEREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO KEEP YOUR GAZE IN **"CONTROL" **like you expect your wife to do so ?!? Weren't you suppose to show your ring to any woman who approaches you / tries to be close to you !! How would have you felt if your wife had done the same to YOU
Oh...So you didn't love your wife anymore. So sad, it was not at all your fault not in your control, it just happened suddenly that you don't love your wife anymore. By the way, was it a love of "HER SOUL" or "HE physical Beauty" which so easily faded with time.
You feel piety on her, and NOT ON YOUR SHAMELESS ATTITUDE ???
And in the end you make it look like you have done a great favour to her, by returning to her. After getting a slap from Dew, go and get a bigger slap from your own wife, so that next time you don't KEEP YOUR GAZE OPEN for potential life partners, oh..sorry "LOVELY" girls, for whom you suddenly and "unintentionally" lose your heart!!!
Re: Little things that matter...
wonderful
Re: Little things that matter...
If you cant see why this belongs in religion, its your own loss. Its pretty straight forward.
its definitely Not the religious issue... its rather the relationship issue.
its not the religion which brought him back to her ...its probably the sense of guilt (or I see 'the son') which brought him back to her. ...
Re: Little things that matter...
oh snap now STP is madddddddd...

I don't know where this story originated, if it was on a Muslimw ebsite, it doesnt necessarily mean it was written by a Muslimf or Muslims.
Yes he commit a huge sin by committing adultery. Is that what you are objecting to, that noone here or in the story acknowledged the affair, correct?
He nearly did destroy his family, but in the end, he decided to work things out wiht his wife...thanks to her...
I know many might not like htis, but a woman who is having an affair with a man that she knows is married and has a child, did she really deserve him following up his promise to her? At least in teh end, he had the sense to work things out.... had he married her, i'm sure they'd both lead truly miserable lives..which they probably deserve.
Re: Little things that matter...
Religion isn't attributed to church and temples, it resides in our everyday actions. If you can't pull a good moral out of this story for your own benefit, then well, it cant be helped.
I dont need to lay it out, some people already have. It is clear cut, and should be easy to understand.
Re: Little things that matter…
so moral of the story is : bivi ko utha ke phirtay raho sara din, 24/7 and you’ll have a wonderful happy life with back pains and probably a damaged back in the next 5 years.
i’m really astonished at these stories. these ppl have too much free and useless time on their hands to come up with such childish and mindless stuff. no wonder muslims are the most backward ppl on the planet. :halo: ![]()
Re: Little things that matter...
^ Well the idea is to tell youre bivi you're divorcing her so she gets thinner. That way its easier to lift her.
Re: Little things that matter…
^ And what if that backfires and the wife gets fatter when hubby tells her he’s divorcing her for some skunk? Fat wife dont deserve to keep her rat of a husband? ![]()
Re: Little things that matter…
divorce :nono:
Re: Little things that matter...
Playing the devil's advocate here.. atleast he had the courtesy to let her know that he's divorcing her instead of going around sleeping with other women while keeping her in the dark.
Becauses its not fun when someone you love goes around sleeping with someone else behind your back. Just not fun.
