Re: Little girls in hijabs
You don’t see anything wrong with that? ok
Re: Little girls in hijabs
Care to explain what is right about a 4 year old in hijab?
Re: Little girls in hijabs
I think soon we will be hearing comments about khatna (circumcision) of Muslim baby boys and calling their parents butchers for not waiting and giving choice to poor souls ![]()
As long as Jews also practice this, none of these chest thumping ‘enlightened’ and self flogging Muslims will ever have the guts to utter a single word opposition to that. So thank God for the Jews.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
Circumcision is sunnat, not mandatory. I believe Islam does not require 4 year old girls to wear hijab.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
I was actually thinking on that, once I posted the comment ![]()
Re: Little girls in hijabs
Islam doesn’t require a 7-8 year old children to fast.. But many children wants to fast as young as as 5 years. What will you call it? I’ll call it dedication and attachment with your deen.
Following certain cultural or religious things just doesn’t happen in one day. Have you seen baby girls playing gudda guddi and arranging marriages? Why do they do that? rehearsal of pratical life my dear. so just take this lightly.

It;s not like you’re going to stop so what’s the point.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
Why do you find it difficult to believe that these girls may have had a choice? One of my younger sisters wears a hijab, and she started very young.. not out of force, in fact my mum told her she had a lot of time to make this decision. She chose then, and yes.. many times it has agitated her in the heat, she’s tried different styles to make it bearable and its worked.
I get what you’re saying IF it is by force, but im not sure why its hard to believe that little girls can make that choice and some parents let them. Maybe it’s a phase, maybe it’s a long term decision. As long as it isnt imposed, its fine. I remember how much i loved to stand by my parents when praying and doing a dupatta, heck i even thought doing dishes and ironing was awesome and obviously mama sweefs thought it convenient to turn it into an exciting activity for me
. Really not a big deal.

Re: Little girls in hijabs
I have been around young girls all my life. I don’t think at 4, 5 or 6 they are aware enough to want to wear a hijab at all times as I have seen with some of these other kids. There is certainly a “shok” but it’s unlikely that they make a lifelong decision at such an early age. Having said that, why is it so difficult for people to admit that parents have a hand in making their daughters wear a hijab at such a young age? It is simply unrealistic to say that all little girls who wear hijab do so because they have chosen to do it without any persuasion from their parents.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
Why is so difficult to admit that not all parents force their daughters to wear hijab at a young age?
No one’s saying each kid is making their own choice, some do some don’t.
Come to think of it., i’ve never seen any kid with hijab on other than going or coming back from mosque.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
This.
I have never seen little girls going around in hijabs, and I have lived in Arab countries as well who are naturally more conservative. Only time I have seen girls like that is in mosques, during prayers or reciting Quran. Nothing wrong with that.
People have the capacity to make their own choices once they are grown up. You’re advocating telling people who to manage their own children. That is very extreme on its own.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
namaaz is not fard until the boys and girls attain maturity yet you will find little kids in masaajid doing namaaz and also at their homes…this is called training.
same rule applies to roza and Hijaab. you have to train the kids…kids wear Hijaab when performing a religious ritual. i haven’t seen little girls wearing Hijaab 24/7.
besides, would you wait for kids to attain maturity to teach the good things?
Re: Little girls in hijabs
You may not have seen it, but that’s certainly not the case for the Muslim communities that I have come across in North America. Hijab starts in elementary school.
what’s the problem with that
What’s the problem with that?
Saudi Scholar
A saudi scholar said there is no problem if the face isn’t hidden.
Yet I see there are girls working in our office in Saudi Arabia one of the wears abaya but her face is always open she is like over confident.
Yet if it started happening in this ultra conservative society of Saudi Arabia what would you say about the rest of the world?
Re: Little girls in hijabs
yeh, 4 year old in hijaab is far better than 25 years old without clothes at beach.
Re: Little girls in hijabs
I just cant figure out whats wrong with that
