At what age do little children have understanding of sex and nudity?
I think it probably varies for each individual for me it was about 7-8 yrs when nudeness started to turn me on, people think kids don’t think about sex but of course they do. At age 7 the slightest sexually explicit thing would give me a rock on.
I wasnt actually asking about what age they get aroused.. but uhm thanx for that! :o
I meant - if a 3 year old child is caught with his pants down.. with a 2 year old girl.. is that normal? could they be playing.. thats what I wanna ask... Do they have understanding of what theyr doing??

I can’t remember if I had any sexual feelings at that age so I can’t tell you if its normal or not.

Sometimes children imitate what they see on TV, but i doubt children that young would know what theyre doing.

What should you do if you catch your child playing "doctor," i.e., showing private parts to another child?
Children 3 to 6 years of age are most likely to play "doctor." Many parents overreact when they witness or hear of such behavior. Heavy-handed scolding is NOT the way to deal with the situation. Nor should parents feel this is promiscuous behavior or will lead to promiscuity. Often, the presence of a parent is enough to interrupt the play.
You may wish to direct your child's attention to another activity without making a lot of fuss. Later, sit down with your child for a talk. Explain that although you understand her interest in her friend's body, she is getting to be a big girl and people are generally expected to keep their bodies covered in public. This way you have set limits without having made the child feel guilty.
if a desi parent sees this i will suggest kicking the boy like a football right in the jewls i hate all of that western oh-dont-make-boy-feel-guilty-as-it-will-scar-him-for-life shiet. Discipline the sucker so he turns out ok. you cant get a good sword without some good old fashioned hammering. Psychiatrists are wussies. common ... this is common sense. i mean think abt it ... do u really think a 2 or 3 year old knows what sex is? i don't think so. there is an age where u start liking the opposite sex and have very minor sexual feelings ... hormones and then there is the age where u find out what sex really is, but as far as i kno and have experienced, even when u find out what sex is ... most kids think of it as really gross and unhuman stuff. i think the sexuality starts in the teens. NOT KIDS. and in the sonario u have given ... the kids might be imitating something they saw ... i mean kids will be kids ... they don't kno what they are doing!
i think kids are just immitating what they see on tv, thats why maybe u should monitor what they watch..
my friends three yr old girl tries to pash her mum, my friend freaked out.. at other times she's pulling her shirt up and dancing (like in bollywood songs).
