When I was growing up, there were awards like Newberry, Caldecott, etc for children’s books.
Aside from the NY Times Bestsellers list, what other literature awards have you come across for adult books?

Nebula Award - Speculative Fiction published in United States
Bram Stoker Award - Horror Fiction
The Edgar Allan Poe Award 'Edgars' - Mystery Fiction
Pulitzer Prize - Fiction (and a lot more) published in United States
Booker Prize - Fiction published in commonwealth
Arthur C. Clarke Award - Speculative Fiction published in United Kingdom
Hemingway Foundation/PEN Awards - Fiction published in United States
There are various others but from my recollection, the above are the most prominent.
P.S: and there's the Nobel award too...
