Clearasil acne clearing gel wash has 2 % salicylic acid in it..

Murads clarifying cleanser has 1.5 % salicylic acid in it. It's not much especially compared to drug store brands which is something I was shocked about myself. However, i've been using it to keep my acne under control and it has helped more than any other face wash ever has (and i've tried a lot).

Murads clarifying cleanser has 1.5 % salicylic acid in it. It's not much especially compared to drug store brands which is something I was shocked about myself. However, i've been using it to keep my acne under control and it has helped more t han any other face wash ever has (and i've tried a lot).
how do you manage makeup with acne, i always breakout worse when i use foundations as it makes my skin oily in few minutes ... which foundation primer and compact powder do you use which makes skin less oily..

^Took me years to get it right for my skin. I've been using acne creams for a while, and finally one that works for me so alhumdulilah, my skin is a lot better than it used to be. I don't have big bulging pimples anymore, just have blemishes and some discoloration that I like to cover each time I go out. I have abnormally oily skin, so that's something that I have to manage a long with everything (and these days because of the acne cream, I have to deal with oily skin that has dry patches and flakes, argh!) So this is what I do..
I wash my face with Murads clarifying cleanser OR with my DDF scrub with benzyl peroxide if my skin looks very flakey. These face washes are drying, which is what i'm looking for. Once I have my skin perfectly cleaned and oil free, I moisturize my skin with an oil free moisturizer where ever I have dry areas. Once that sinks in, I apply my makeup. If i'm going out to a party, I like to apply a primer so my makeup lasts longer. I prefer using something that controls oil, or these days i'm using a waterproof primer by Hourglass which works very well. Then I very lightly apply MAC's SFF, and then set that with MAC's pressed powder which absorbs oil and keeps my skin matte for a decent amount of time. I use blotting paper when needed, and lightly powder my face again on oily areas. Sadly, i'm not the kind of person who can put my makeup on then forget about it. I need to check my face every so often to make sure it looks okay. Might sound like a lot of steps, but it's not so bad and it's something that works for me.

do acne cream really helps in getting rid of pimple?, i have never tried any acne cream as here in pakistan the climate is hot most of the time so i think acne creams doesn't work in summer? what do you say should i try it ? which one do you use ?
i cant use scrub as currently i have active acne. however i am looking for a good oil free moisturizer and sadly i also cant put makeup and forget so i have to wash it after some time.

^I use Aveeno, it's oil free, and I use Retin-A as my acne cream
