Liquid foundation. I used to like Mac's moisture sthg compact but that got discontinued.

Liquid or cream. I do like MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural for setting, though.

Creams photograph really well and blend beautifully, much better than liquids. The liquid foundation I do use are sheer and water-based like MAC Face & Body or Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid because they don't accentuate the occasional dry flakes I get since I've started using Retinol.

i've got vitalumiere aqua in liquid form and today i tried it in cream compact and it lukd nice too :D so im getting confused if i shud get this or maybe just buy another brand's liquid foundation so that i have a choice of two diff rands foundation.

Liquid foundation because creams always, always make my skin look flakey.

Its dependent on what type of coverage you want. The liquid vitalumiere aqua is a light/medium dewy finish- very good for every day whereas the compact version is medium/heavy coverage with a beautiful smooth matte kind of finish, but obviously not cakey. I'd personally recommend the vitalumiere aqua liquid version.

You are rite! i have never liked heavy coverage so vitalumiere aqua liquid foundation is perfect choice for me however i was thinking of buying 1 more foundation so tried giorgio armani and dior and both were good but i still find VA the best so i thought maybe i should invest in another bottle or just try it in diff formula i.e cream form?

i think i should stop going 2 chanel cuz it always confuses me :frowning: n makes me gareeb too! :smack:

Chanel foundation is expensive but definitely worth it. Try Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser, that has a light coverage which is buildable. It’s slightly cheaper than Chanel. The Liz Earle skin tint is also quite good for minimal coverage without breaking the bank. I’ve never tried Armani or Dior foundations.

i tried lancome teint idole (liquid) this was my first foundation in my life and suits me so well and i always get so many compliments on it since then i have sticked to this foundation only... Never Ever tried anything else :D

I’ve tried dior’s youth tinted moisturiser n it was good but nt a perfect match for my skintone. Armani’s was better in terms of colormatch but nothing that would make me switch from Chanel.

Chanel vitalumiere for daywear (liquid). Kryolan tv stick (cream) for evening party wear.

Clarins skin illusion radiance foundation, it has plant extracts and minerals. gives a natural finish with breathable skin.
Previously used Dior creme beige compact , amazingly matched my skin tone but thats discontinued:(
Now have Estee L's compact in pale almond,its ok.

liquid for everyday/office use and creme for special occasion/event use.
