You should decide based on your overall look, the style of your makeup application and lehnga, and your skin color.
Not by how popular shades are :)

Yea MS is right, depends what ur wearing & wat ur look u want to have.. dont forget if ur eyes are made up heavy use a more natural, softer colour for ur lips and vice versa...
I am NOT talking about my bridal day (ofcourse taht has to be decided by the makeup artist), just wanted to ask, what are the shades one should have in her cosmetics box?
One shud have shades that suit their complexion the best! A newly-wed shud have a neutral color for day-wear.. and several darker colors for the night ( deep mauve's, crimson, pinks) Keep u're complexion and undertones in mind while selecting u're shades =)

at least one pink, one neutral one red one maroon one light pink and one peach/brown/mocha
