Lipstick for maroon frock style dress

Need some help please.. I am wearing a red maroonish frock for my cousin’s mehndi with gold jamawar churidar. I would like to do heavy eye makeup but light lipstick but I am a little confused to what color lipstick to go with. I am trying to avoid the whole red color shades so please post some suggestions for colors.. I would prefer to get mac, covergirl or revlon if possible.

"cosmo' is a pretty color from MAC. It's the one I wear when I do smokey/heavy eyes. Color would actually depend on your complexion though.

Try "Bare" from MAC it's one of those slimline lipsticks.
