How many of you guys here like or use lipliners? I think lipliners look nice if done properly.. but some people just use it and end up looking trashy. I personally dont really use em cuz it just makes me look weird… but what colors or color combos are good? Obviously black is out of the question… and do you people wear lipliners without any glass or lipstick in the middle? I dunno… I just think thats weird… never really saw anyone with it though, so cant say…

umm i wear lip liners normally only with lipstick becuase sometimes my lips need a bit of definition. i normally tend to use pinks or browns and i always wear the pencil down a bit coz a really sharp line jus doesnt look nice. and after applying it i smuge into my lips a bit so it doesnt look to harsh and blends into my look.

I don't bother with it to be honest, if I do, its usually with dark shades, but since its spring I just use nude colour lipstick/gloss, no need to bother with lip liner.

OK I dont know why spanish girls do the black lipliner with white/forsty lipstick..it just looks hideous!! So amny girls do it i’m starting to wonder if it has a cultural significance 
I use a nude pink lipliner and its really nice but i dn think its good quality…doesnt really show very much

I use this lip liner which has this white color at first but after i fill in the lipstick it goes away or leave the lip liner for sometime it just gives a finished look to the lips but there aint any color

I know what you mean! Sadly the desi thugettes have started copying it too! Not attractive at all!

lip liner isnt really suppose to show up much anyway, it only defines and neatens the edges of your lips and then fill in with lipstick nearest the colour of the lip liner.

Anyone ever line outside the lips? Does it EVER look natural? I did it for my wedding on both days and it looked OK to me..but it'll just feel/look weird if i do it on my own for college ro smething

If your lips are average sized, then sometimes it can look ok...

it only works if its done right, I think you have to apply foundation on the lips to disguise the natural lines of your lips and then apply as you like, but not to be too eager and over do it, because then it would look fake. As long as its as close to the natural lines, then you're ok.

I use nude colored one too...makes your lipstick stay longer

seriously, like if i go shopping and she realises that she wants a nice colour lipliner…she’ll call me and be like “get me this colour and if u see any nice creams then get me one!” i was like muuuummm 
she likes clinique…the maroonish one i think
