Have you ever tried them? If yes, which ones and did they work for you?
After reading a few reviews urban decay and too faced lip plumpers appear to be quite good. I might try urban decay.. Has anyone used either of them?
I’ve tried the Too Faced one and it wasn’t that great, my lips are quite full anyway so maybe that’s why I didn’t notice a drastic change. I’ve heard good things about the DuWop lip venom though
I’m going to try a homemade one when I have the time to make it.
^ Whats required for the home made one? Urban decay is supposed to better.

.. my nieces put it on me about a year ago, under the guise that it was a normal lip gloss… it felt like my lips were on fire! :no:
Yeh, the way lip plumpers work is to irritate the skin on the lips in order to cause an inflammation. This will lead to increased blood flow to the lip area giving the appearance of fuller, plumper and rosier lips. There are certain ingredients that can cause this effect: some essential oils such as peppermint oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil and some spices. Have you ever notice that your lips are plumper and redder after you’ve eaten something spicy? This is because the spices have caused the lips to inflame. Most lip plumpers on the market use some of these ingredients anyway so I just thought it’d be cheaper to make my own! This guy explains it much better:
