I love brown, nude colours.

My husband just brought me these and they look good on desi skin.

clinique: long last lipstick 12 blushing nude
and matching long last glosswear 07 bonfire.

I love nude and magentas for a pop of colour. My everyday lipstick is Fast Play or Hot Gossip, both by MAC. For going out and stuff I use Girl About Town or Candy Yum Yum with Magenta lipliner (all by MAC).

For a bright lip, MAC Girl about town is my fave and for a toned down colour I find that MAC Mocha looks amazing on a desi skin tone.

MAC Retro- a nice 'tawny' brown
MAC Craving- a pretty light plum
MAC Orchid- I love this 'hot pink'
Clinique Baby Kiss- a soft pink/brown
Rimmel Paradise- a mauve/brown

Chanel Mademoiselle (apricot)

Chanel Romantic (deep pink--not too bright)

Chanel Taffeta Rose (dark pink with some shimmer)

Chanel Venise (muted red)

Chanel Vendome (reddish brown)

Burberry Rosewood (dusty rose)

A lot of Guerlain shades..........almost all of them really

I recently bought Candy yum yum, party parrot and pink parrot by MAC. These look lovely if you have fair or medium skin colour. It will not suit slightly darker colours.

whats your skin color like? if its light and pulls yellow like a lot of us-twig by mac, toasted almond by l'oreal, nude by l'oreal, and black honey by clinique.

MAC satin Mocha


Revlon Rosy Nude

Sooo gorgeous, you have to try out the Revlon one atleast!

I just got "Speak Louder" from Mac which according to the salesperson is ironic cuz I seem very soft spoken. Yeah right, only when I am not mad which is only 5% of the time.

What's ironic is that I went in there to actually buy "Something New" which as a blissfully ignorant living under the rock didn't know was a special edition....back in 2010.

I might return Speak Louder, it doesn't look half as attractive as it does on temptalia girl.

i JUST bought the revlon one! its really nice, but i wish it was long lasting.

^So glad you like it! I found it pretty long lasting, I like the stain that it leaves even after it dries. Try applying a nude lipliner all over your lips, then applying the lipstick :)

Mac's shanghai spice...it's like velvet teddy but with a bit of shine

A few months back, I went to buy a mac lipstick color that was in one of the threads…in a rush I wrote down the name of the website on my phone instead of teh color…so when I went there looking for “temptalia” they were like… looking at me funny :rotfl: Then i had to check the thread on my phone…I felt so silly :sid:

I've tried nudes by MAC & Loreal too .. Wonder why they make me look washed out and dull. I need to know colours to make you look fresh and vibrant?
