What about picking at you lips with fingers till they bleed. I can't stop. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember.
My lips are so dry and flaky that even when have tried to give it up for a few days my lips just get worse because I havent removed the skin.

Lazy_daisy, I had a friend in grade school who used to suck her thumb and her mother used that bitter polish on her. But eventually she would gnaw it off and continue sucking her thumb. I think an adult would find a way around it even quicker.

Schweet, I think your friend needs to find the root of the problem in order to stop it.

i noticed she used to do it before an exam and also when she is thinking.....

i remember that i used 2 bite nails when i was abt 6 years old.. ma mom bought a nailpolish wich tastes soooooooo horrible when u put ur fingers in ur mounth..:yukh:
i think u can get it at a pharmacy..
believe me.. it really works..:yukh: u will never put ur fingers in ur mounth again..:smiley:

^ only in the beginning.. but evantually.. she will forget.. i never hated ma mom for what she did to me..:hehe: juz put it on while she sleeps..:smiley:
