Do you look for lip balms and lipsticks with some kind of spf or it really doesn’t matter?
Do they really protect your lips or are they just a waste of money?

not really its hard to find ones with spf even mac n bodyshop lipbalms dont contain spf..the ones that do contain it r not that great

You can use neutrogena's chapstick (super moisturizes like no other) and you can smear your lipstick over it. I prefer that because then you get the sun protection.

I usually just pick a lipstick/lipbalm for its colour. We really should protect our lips but that’s the last thing I think about

I don't bother either. I usually choose a lippy for it's colour too.
I just generally apply my SPF lotion over my lips as well, to ensure they're protected! :)
