and the other side of cable is in modem or in your PC?
Strange if its direct into your pc and also I dont think so it will or can get connection like that.
though if it the cable is cnnected in between your modem and wall and you are connected to internet with the help of cable in between your modem and pc / laptop then it means there isnt any problem in configuration of modem and now it lies in your wireless connection that you tried to establish.
No its not internet, its your router as you can do wired connection. Same thing happened to my router. You need to go to router IP address wedsite (could be 192.168.1.1.) through wired connection and reset its configuration.
Or you can launch the Application that came with your router (which you installed at the time of Router set up), and I think it will allow you to reconfigure some of the settings using its easy to use interface.
I'll beat AT&T price by $50. Consider it holiday special, 50% off.
well I will do it for 20 USD. I will even not show my "desi" face or will knock at her door. I will just use remote assistance to avoid any desi or Pakistani bashing. :D
Change the Linksys router IP (and the IP's router gives out) to 192.168.5.1 (and 192.168.5.100-150). Its conflicting with the IP address of the ATT modem.
