LinkedIn is big these days. I dont get as many emails from regular job sites like monster anymore. All of them are through Linkedin.

It has helped me a lot. I am in the middle of interviewing for Google because of linkedin.

Yep. They do. Most of the recruiters are on linkedin these days. In the past I have heard from facebook and apple as well.

Linkedin is a unique kind of recruitment experience. Used in the following manner in the professional world:

  • Its a headhunting haven. The best of the networking tools one can imagine , particularly for senior level recruitment.
  • An awesome place to keep in touch with people , word of mouth always helps secure a good job and if you keep lesser but effective network of friends you will see sweet fruit of it :)
  • you dont have to apply to jobs , you get called even when you are least expecting ! its good coz it means if you get on the radar , that perfect job will find you .

Personally have no experiance but my friend used to find job from there...and Alhamdulilah she is doing job there since two and half years..

I found my last three jobs through LinkedIn. I don't know what I would do without it honestly.
