can you make only the snapshot of your profile public ? this would only include the current/past positions, education, connections and websites but not the detail experience (duration, job description)…
i recently opened an account and cannot figure out how to do this !!!

You can edit your public profile by:
1-Choose Settings after clicking your user name from the top right side.
2-Select Profile Tab, click 'Edit your public profile' from 'Helpful Links'
3-From Profile Content that is appearing beneath 'Customize Your Public Profile' on the bottom right side, check whatever info you want to share.
