can we please have a link to the member’s blog from their profile? the only way i see that you can go to someone’s blog is either fishing through the long list of recent entries or blogs, or finding a post by that person and then clicking on their # of blog posts from there.

I don't think you are on my friend's list. Let me send you an invite and then you should be able to see it. My blog is private, only my friends/contacts can see it. I am assuming Phatima's blog is private as well, that's why I can see her blog because I am on her friend's list. If you tried to see someone's private blog without being on their list, you shouldn't see the link. Otherwise it would be teasing because you would see their blog but when you click on the link, it'll say you don't have access to it.

nevermind. the first screen in ur above post is for browsers which support CSS2 i think. IE does not do that yet.

Signed in using IE and I was able to see both your and Phatima's blog's link when I clicked on the user name.

Only mods and admins can see the above tabs. let me see if that can be enabled for members as well.

The issue I see with providing a link in posts is that if I click on a blog to read I will be told I cannot read the blog because it is private that link should also let me know that this blog is private so that I do not click on it.

Yea but I already said that it's inconvenient that we have to go search for a post by a member and then go to their blog. What if we just see a comment they left in a blog and we want to go to their journal from there? It would make sense for there to be a blog link in the profile so you can just click on the username, go to their profile, and go to their blog from there.

Just click on their last activity thread/post and it’ll take you to their last post, then go from there, kids these days

wait you can do that already. say i commented in your blog, and you want to go to my blog from your blog, just click on my avatar and it will take you to my blog. if you want to go see my profile from your blog, click on my nick. on the other hand, if you are on my blog and want to see my profile, then click on my avatar and that will take you to my profile.

you can still do that 
get FF. then go to their profile, and click on the BLOG tab. if they don’t have a blog tab then you can’t see their blog because a) they don’t have a blog or b) they don’t want you to see their blog
and it works with non-mod nicks
