Do any of you use linen water to freshen up your sheets? I’ve always wanted to use linen water, but it’s just too expensive. Can you make your own linen water?
Re: Linen Water
Never heard of it. Maybe it isnt available here, or might be in some Gora supermarkets.
Re: Linen Water
HInna i just use febreeze for fabric to spray the sheets, they end up nice and fresh. I once got a good deal on linen sprays from TJ maxx so had a nice collection but mostly you are right, they are a bit pricey.
Re: Linen Water
I use Febreeze as well....but I'd like to avoid using it on the sheets.
Re: Linen Water
Any particular reason why? I use the hypoallergenic kind~ should i reconsider?
Re: Linen Water
^ I guess I'm just paranoid about the chemicals.
Re: Linen Water
Never heard of linen water.
Why exactly is it used?
Re: Linen Water
Sajal, linen water is a spray that is used to freshen up your linens and towels.
Re: Linen Water
Hinna, L'Occitane makes a nice Lavender Linen Water. You can order it off the internet. There's a ton of sites selling this.
Re: Linen Water
^ is it expensive?
Re: Linen Water
.
Re: Linen Water
No sajal. You wash the sheets as you normally would and just use the water to refresh the sheets once in a while.
Re: Linen Water
Anywhere from 14 to 16 bucks a bottle and it does go a fairly long way. Just google a search for “L’Occitane lavender linen water” and you should come up with results. BTW, the bottle I have at home is a 16 oz. spray bottle, and frankly I don’t even remember how long ago I bought it.
Re: Linen Water
Oh I just love it! My mom usually gifts me :halo:
Why don’t u try another alternative. Try placing tiny scented soaps (Pine, Lavendar, vanilla etc) underneath the pillows or ur fav potpourri in home made sachets and remove them before going to bed.
Re: Linen Water
db...I totally forgot about my body shop soaps. I could use them inside the sheets. Thanks! :)
