Always trying new things, Lindsay Lohan is headed off to India to “better herself.”
The “Labor Pains” star wants to end the partying lifestyle in Los Angeles for a bit and will be spending time with BBC to work on a documentary about the trafficking of women and children that happen in the country.
“Lindsay is trying to better herself and get away from her party girl image. She wants to be taken more seriously,” a source said. “She is excited about escaping the drama of Los Angeles and doing something real.”
Hoping for change, the 23 year-old will fly out from LA today (December 8) and stay until the 12.
LiLo is also hoping that her own experiences can help someone and wants to start her own charity.
“I’ve been through a lot in my life,” she said. “I’d like to have my own charity, do work overseas, be in Oscar-nominated films, write movies, produce movies, shows and videos, design clothes, make music and write books.”
