Re: Like seriously ????

they didn't hurt anybody.........whats all the rage about???

Re: Like seriously ???

Indiana eh? :hmmm:…Maybe they’re originally from Alabama.

Re: Like seriously ????

omGGG this is beyond grosss!!! and all you pepole who keep ranting about "live and let be" or "its their choice who careS" kuch toh haya karlo
people can be be open minded, thats fine, but what are u people tryna prove with such comments?

Re: Like seriously ???

:hehe:

Re: Like seriously ????

What we're tryna prove is that youse just gotta live and let be.

Look Granny may not be around long. And then maybe he'll find someone more appropriate....like I dunno....a cousin.

Re: Like seriously ????

I'm sure this is at the "liberals" of the board. Except you failed at making a point, Nomi. Y'know why? Because this is ABUSE and unethical in every way possible. The guy is probably mentally ill and the grandma is a senile pervert.

Re: Like seriously ???

Or West Virginia…

Re: Like seriously ???

Take your pick, there are so many of em…Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia, etc

Re: Like seriously ????

how did i fail to make a point??
first you tell me the definition of pervert......lets talk..

Re: Like seriously ????

Nomi? This relationship is incestuous. There could be nothing more perverted, wrong and unethical.

Re: Like seriously ????

what makes incest worse than homosexuals?? talking objectively..

Re: Like seriously ????

^You seriously see no difference between a relationship with a family member (brother, sister, parent, grandparent) and a relationship with the same sex?

In that case, there is nothing left to say.

Re: Like seriously ????

I agree with Nom - ban gay marriage - that is the cause of all the evil in the world.

Re: Like seriously ????

i see difference between socially accepted norms and those that are not considered norms...

i did say 'objectively'.......... and my logic was same........ if you don't have a problem with gays having relations (due to the not hurting anybody/their own business reasoning) why is incest (with adults) that bad?? at the end of the day............. both are not social norms........
why accept one and reject the other??

Re: Like seriously ????

^Learn to compare like for like instead of throwing around tit-for-tat statements with no understanding of actual facts..

As M pointed out incest can often involve abuse (mental or physical) and 'grooming.' Also children born from incestuous relationships have a much higher chance of birth defects..

Homosexuality may be seen as morally wrong but usually it is just about** consenting adults..

Re: Like seriously ????

Read the bold part ............ i have made it colorful for you too...

i wasn' talking about babies.....i am talking about relationships.

Re: Like seriously ???

Its ewwww :bummer: I mean, comeon, they are grandmother-grandson, so how could they… :frowning: :bummer:

Re: Like seriously ????

Incest, between two adults, will always have an element of abuse. There is no mis-wiring that can happen in the brain which magically makes a person become attracted towards a sibling, parent or grandparent, all relationships which have some maternal circumstances. In most cases, incest was always about available options. I understand what you're saying about the two not being social norms except one is accepted more, but you need to realize that incest always have one person who's exploiting a trust. In this case, the grandmother definitely has had to have some history of abuse as well as the guy. But then again, they did not grow up together nor were they grandmother/grandson to one another so they didn't have that "bond". Regardless, there is something totally morally wrong about being in a relationship with an immediate-family member.

I can't believe you would even compare the two, to be honest.

Re: Like seriously ????

Best leave it M, there are a couple of posters here who don't understand issues of consent (anyone remember 'there's no such thing as marital rape?') and mutual trust.. I actually think the grandmother may be more to blame here as she made the first move (predatory) but then again she may be senile.. Lots of confused emotions in cases of long lost relatives and like you said there's not that 'conventional' bond of the relationship.. I'm NOT condoning this AT ALL before someone jumps down my throat.. I tend to think there's usually one dominant partner manipulating the weaker one in cases like this and in the vast majority of stories one partner at least seems to have been 'damaged' in some way or not of sane mind..

Re: Like seriously ????

^Ditto.
