if he thinks he can censor a chick (or many chicks) for his own pleasure, not being able to control his desires, not caring about his religion (yes i said religion, shoot me rolleyes ), certainly not acting like a shareef bacha, and then expects me to accept him as my majaazi khuda he has to be kidding me!
Now if he was already married and then divorced then its kool...
Good one I agree with BBQ .If guy or girl is divorcee or widower then it doesn't matter even if you are not virgin.

Heck yes, it's a deal breaker. For some reason I can't take a guy seriously like that. A guy can be a badass and sexy. And a virgin. It's such a western conception to think that a virgin guy is gonna be a no0b. =/
Obviously thats the only thing which can assure you that your life partner is only urs.. otherwise what difference does it makes between you and the other person who took her virginity, This is the thing which i think most important for me...,
On serious note, Yep..they do. I used to watch a lie detector tv show, on relationship issues.
There was a specialist docter on the lie detector, talking to the subject for about 20 minutes, while monitoring there heart rate patterns on the computer.
There is some science and psycology behind lieing. A human may disguise his reactions, on lieing, but he cannot control his heart rate from altering.
She evaluated the session after, and always determined the truth. A lie was usually followed a confession.
There are some ppl out there who can beat the lie detector and also there are innocent ppl out there who can fail.. Of course a ‘specialist’ on a tv show is going to claim no-one can beat it if he/she is using it. It’s in their best interest to make people believe that.
‘Polygraphy has also been faulted for failing to trap known spies such as double-agent Aldrich Ames, who passed two polygraph tests while spying for the Soviet Union’
‘The polygraph also failed to catch Gary Ridgway, the “Green River Killer”. Ridgway **passed **a polygraph in 1984 and confessed almost 20 years later when confronted with DNA evidence.’
'Law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies in the United States are by far the biggest users of polygraph technology. In the United States alone all federal law enforcement agencies either employ their own polygraph examiners or use the services of examiners employed in other agencies. This is despite persistent claims of unreliability. For example in 1978 Richard Helms, the 8th Director of Central Intelligence, stated that:
“We discovered there were some Eastern Europeans who could defeat the polygraph at any time. Americans are not very good at it, because we are raised to tell the truth and when we lie it is easy to tell are lying. But we find a lot of Europeans and Asiatics can handle that polygraph without a blip, and you know they are lying and you have evidence that they are lying.”’
I'm not fussed. When it comes to sex as long as the person is honest with me beforehand I can handle it. It would be a lot more hurtful to find out from other people and also for me it would be worse if he was in love with someone else and hadn't gotten over her or if he was desi and preferred someone else but wasn't allowed to marry her or something and 'settled' for me..
Sounds a bit funny but the feelings rather than the act itself bother me a lot more. If he was physically a virgin but head over heels in love with another girl that would break my heart :(
In a way what happened in his past is none of my business.
But I'd want to be able to trust him to not have any STI's. That would be one of my biggest concerns. I'd be curious about what happened and how it happened - though knowing it will probably make me a little uncomfy.
It would be important for me to know if it was serious relationship(s) or sleeping around. And I obviously want to know how the person explains it all. I want it all to be coherent with who he is and be able to explain it in a manner that I can respect (the explanations usually reflect person's core beliefs). I want to be able to respect his core beliefs. If I do, it will be easier for me.
So, I guess for me the bigger concern than virginity itself are the conditions surrounding it, that allowed it to happen.
To add to the random discussion going on up there about the polygraph test; it actually detects guilt which then causes your heart to race, brain activity to change and whatnot. All that happens via the emotion of "guilt". The detector detects for symptoms of guilt, basically.

Well atleast this one was good.
I am not gona buy it that LIE DETECTOR works. The basic working of these instrumnents are based on your blood flow, your heart beat and your respiration speed.
There may be some people who are speaking truth but may fall for lie detector since they may not handle the pressure of investigation. Similarly, if someone is just perfect at lieing, it would be practically difficult to detect his/her lies.
You gota be perfect to beat every single machine and defeating a machine is just a matter of self confidence + a little use of brain .. :)
