Lightening I can handle …thunder is a different story!

**So who else counts the seconds of delay between thunder and lightening?

To figure out how far lightening is from you, count the seconds between when you see lightening til you hear the thunder. Divide that number by 5 to find out how many miles it is away! (rough estimate)**

We used to do this as kids!
