A friend of mine asked me this question but I had no idea so maybe someone can help out:
Which foundation is the best in terms of making skin appear lighter? Preferably in mineral makeup in order to avoid pimples etc.
Also…any recommendations for a fabulous dark black mascara? One which does not clog the eyelashes together but just separates and lengthens? Can be any brand/price.
Please list any tried and tested products.

foundation should be chosen to enhance ones skin tone.. not change it... how far will you go to appear lighter through a foundation? will you rub it on your back neck, exposed parts of the upper torso like collarbone and shoulder blades.. and then come the arms.. its funny seeing a girl walk around with arms that are dark and a face color that just doesnt match cuz its white.
if you have dark skin, and you choose a foundation many colors lighter than your own skin tone, its gonna make u look chalky.
as for mascara. sighz... way too much choice. teh great lash mascara is awesome for an everyday wear... by maybelline is it? rimmel, revlon, l'oreal all make good ones.

try mosse{i forget spelling) its like flufy .stay matte s mousse its 6/7£,its make u fresh if u wannt to give the impact that u r not in makeup otherwise its up to u how much u want but surely its not chalky u can usr illuminating pearls for night parties

Yeah mattes mouse from boots / super drug is the best one ,, i wear that one
