I was given a sample of elemis pro collagen marine cream to try and the cream is without a doubt one of the best i have ever tried. It’s light, yet really hydrating and i love the fact that it actually makes a difference to my skin.

The only problem is that i am always reapplying my moisturiser after wudhu - up to 4 times a day - and this works out really really expensive.
I’ll prob purchase but use this as a night time moisturiser, but in the meantime i am looking for a decent priced day time moisturiser? Spf isnt really an issue, because i wear niqaab and the weather isnt Scotland isnt comparable to the weather in California!
I am looking for something light and hydrating, that wont clog my pores cos i’ll be re-applying, and something with nourishing ingredients - even if it’s a bit more expensive then that’s okay. I’ve tried body shop vitamin e but a bit too rich, and oil of olay beauty fluid.
The person who recomends - shall be the recipient of many duaas insha’allah!
Re: Light day time moisturiser
Boots Vanishing Cream…so light…it just absorbs into your skin and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy (I have oily skin). I got a facial done by my aesthetician…and even she noticed that my skin has improved (smaller pores, fewer breakouts, less congestion).

Re: Light day time moisturiser
^^^ Also, it is said that you should apply moisturizer when your skin is slightly wet/damp. I'm not saying that it should be dripping wet.
But after you wash your skin...slightly pat it dry....but not too much...leave it a bit wet.....and then apply your moisturizer. The wetness helps your skin to absorb the moisturizer better....so it's more hydrating. That's what I've read...and seen on TV in regards to skin care....and that's how I apply my moisturizer.
