Every time I go to visit Life 1 Forum (yeah I am guilty of that
), I get to read some terms that are unheard of:naraz:
Once, I tried to ask the meaning of SIL, and my post was deleted ![]()
I figured it was not a nice thing to be discussed with that much details involved:hayaa: specially if it goes in SIL’s favour ![]()
Then, I decided to do a research my self and finally compiled a thesis on the potential translation and transliteration of those terminologies, which are often the axis of most of the lovely talks in that forum. The pivotal point of almost every conversation is about the love of SIL and MIL
Here are the few points and definition from my doctorial paper, rejected by the Anjumunaan-e-Hoqooq-e-tehreek-e-Saas-O-SaaliyaaN:
**1. SIL: **
The reason every time SIL is used in conversation and everyone end up cursing the word is because of the absence of BaTTa … I strongly belief that a BaTTa is essential for a SIL to have otherwise, you can not work on SIL ![]()
2. MIL:
A very poor spelling of the word, it should have another ‘L’ at the end and just because that ‘L’ is often missing in the talks, this word is almost always misunderstood and taken for granted :halo:
3. BIL:
very confusing term. First I had concluded that it was all about Bill Clinton, but later I corrected myself with sheer perseverence and patience in my research to get the facts correct. This term, just like MIL, is also missing a ‘L’ at the end and it nothing but reference to different types of bills we get every month. ![]()
4. FIL:
Still ambiguous but my first conclusion is same as the above two, to say the least (a missing ‘L’). However, it requires further research at the moment.
5. DIL:
Although this term is often refered for MIL and FIL, it actaully belongs to someone else who does not come under the same rules of terminology from one side but is considered a masculine form of SIL from the DIL’s side … very confusing …
