How many people are satisfied with their lives out there; or do you wish that you were living a life of someone else? If you happen to idealize someone, and only God knows why you would do that, do you become a psychotic fan and follow that person around? Do you try to imagine that things that happened to them actually happened to you? Do you drive the object of your offection insane with your non-stop yapping. Now I understand why Elvis Presley died.
I think I like my life…as perfect or imperfect as it might be. I have the right to discuss it…you do not. So shuuu. This is easier for me to say that while enjoying the bliss of shadows…I wonder if famous people out there feel this way as well, and probably have a lot more difficult time saying that.
I think I am rambling.
Re: Life
I am content with what I have in worldly matter but I am struggling to improve in religious matters.

Re: Life
My main perspective to be happy in life is based on the question why ALLAH:swt: created the life to begin with. Why did He even created our life in the first place?
I get my answer from the same Almighty - In the beggining of surah mulk Allah:swt: says that He has created Life and Death to Test among us that who is the doer of good deeds.
At another place, in surah zariyaat, He says that He created humans and jins to be a servant of Him in His commands.
It’s a continuous struggle till death to be on the right track of life while keeping your state of Imaan filled. I heard from a friend-turned-scholar, who explained me once that Imaan is a Jar with the cracked bottom. So, it’s continusously dripping. And it’s a continuous struggle to keep it filled.
Life is an Amaanah given to us. Allah has to be happy from our life and that the whole struggle is about for me.
This is my personal opionion and may not qualify as the ultimate in some people’s understanding.

Re: Life
While I am at the subject of various objects of annoyance....how many of you people get mail that is opened; drives me nuts. I mean, if every Tom, Dick, and Harry can open my mail before I get it, what's the point of my even recieving it. In fact, the mailman should to go ahead and keep it as well. I would like to see him pay my bills.
Re: Life
No one other than who the mail is addressed to opens the mail in my house.
Re: Life
Shikra...it's good to have a healthy imagination; though not always. I was referring to your mail arriving as pre-opened. If a family member opened my mail, I wouldn't mind it so much. In fact, they can make copies and distribute my mail to the entire Khandan and I wouldn't care. However, outsiders is where I draw the line.
Re: Life
You might want to rent either a P.O. Box (to receive postal mail only) at your local post office or you can rent a Private Mail Box (PMB for mail as well as packages by private carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL etc) at any UPS store. That’s the safest way if you are really concerned about your mail :k:
Re: Life
be thankful for what u have ..
Re: Life

Re: Life
Please kindly shed your wisdom regarding securing of email as well. I think I can survive with a few letters opened here and there in the regular mail but email is a whole different ball game…another source of annoyance. Any wise ideas?
