Why and why not?

Re: Life isn't fair
Yes. But it was never meant to be fair, if life becomes fair; easy and happy for all then what wl be the purpose of life?
What happens is that we get so busy and involved in with this temporary life that we forget we are not here for good, we are here for a test i.e life and its us who have to be fair to ourself by being good with this life and by making good use of it so that we can do well in hereafter.
Re: Life isn't fair
NO
Never ever
Re: Life isn't fair
Yes, I agree!
Re: Life isn't fair
ofc
Re: Life isn't fair
True......... but not for everyone.
Re: Life isn't fair
Life isn't fair to those who are too weak to *make *it fair. Make sense?
Re: Life isn't fair
^Um, no. There are certain prerequisites/conditions to making life fair. I and hubby were just talking about this yesterday. We were at my parents' place for my niece's birthday party. While she was surrounded with all of us and her gifts, I couldn't help but wonder "un bachon ki kya ghalati hai jo ghareeb gharon main peda hote hain, ya jin ke maa baap unko peda kerke bhool jaate hain"
We can sit here and say we can make it fair and all but the truth is it's just not true for everyone. For every extra bit of food we have, one goes to sleep hungry in another part of the world.
Re: Life isn't fair
so professor, since you have already decided that life in unfair for the weak, could you tell me who decides who is weak and who is not?

People who take crap from everyone in the name of compromise. Another major factor is financial independence. In fact, I think its the biggest factor.
Re: Life isn't fair
i have no opinion on this topic so i care not to prove/say otherwise
but i have an issue with your comment
hence my post
(since your two lines have nothing to do with the questiion i asked) again, who gets to decide who is weak and who is not? you can choose not to answer

I remember you were the guy that said women can't live without their husbands. It is not surprising therefore, that you would get all riled up at the mention of economic independence.
Re: Life isn’t fair
All I know is people around us utter this statement at the most trivial of issues ![]()
life is fair IMO..only the fairness doesn’t have to show itself immediately! But everything does happen for a reason
Re: Life isn't fair
I agree with Enigmatic. In my opinion life is fair n the sense eventually you will realise that everything happened for a reason.
