did anyone watch it?
BBC 2 it was on at 9pm, 3 parter based on Mera Syals book.
I thought it was ok, the book was better.

Yep watched it last night, not bad, directed pretty well. The ending of the first episode was sad.

I like meera Sayal's work, be it her writing or her acting.

I saw it. It was quite good. I liked the way it was from Tanya's point of view.
I felt sorry for Sunita's husband when he found out she had an abortion and also for Shyla when she saw Tanya kissing her husband although it was a bit obvious that they would kiss sooner or later.

Shinoo, the last 20 mins were i think of the screening of tanya’s film, chila finds out she preggers and tanya and chila’s hubby (whats his name?) kiss.

no, they do all look alike … same style, etc.
Edit: Actually, same can be applied to desi girls everywhere. Of course, not all fall into the category and most grow out of it once they leave school and create their own identity.

and yes, all the desi girls in uk looked the same to me... same style of dressing/talking. The only desi that looked different to me was my friend who moved from melbourne to london..
