Ughh Men are so Lame after marriage...I'm the one who always come up with the plans and where to go.
I talk to him all the time about how I feel. He is like go to your home and stay with your family for a few days. Im like UFFFFFFFF.........
Yup we do save money...We are planning to go away before Ramzan starts...

ooooh i meant chill in the sense of yes we were dating and we went to uni together in the day.....then in the evening, when we would spend time together i.e. chill in uk language he would be a boring slob.
Zaara - it's completely normal to feel this way. You will feel this way because life before was more about ME ME ME - and now it's not about just ME.
That's why people say married people are boring - =)

I just got married April, and my life before marriage was soo much better than it is now...its kind of making me depressed. My husband is always at work and so am I, but I get to take time off here and there. he doesnt his hours are all over the place. Its not even that...Its starting to bother me that I make more money than him aswell... Our marriage life isn't so fun either. We go out for dinner, and watch movies and thats it whenever we get alone time... My life before marriage considered shopping, dining at fine restaurants, spending time with my friends. etc... All I worry about now are my finances. Our realationship while we were dating was so much better and upbeat than our married life...its sad to say I acutally regret getting married, I thought it would make my life better and exciting, but it did the complete opposite...
I dont know what to do...Have your guys experienced this after marriage?
first 2-3 yrs of every marriage vvvv borin, feel like wr stuck in a rut n no way out , also financial restraints .... its a very challenging time for all women
but u will feel much better afta a few yrs.

go back to school for high degree
get some new friends
find some hobbies,
memorize the Quran
volunteer at a shelter for homeless or bettered women
vounteer at your local Sunday school
start a home improvement project
learn a new skill or a language
save some money and plan a vacation abroad

sweety, some people NEVER get to go on vacations cz they just cant well afford it, or their in laws make a big fuss and dont let them go....ure having 2 vacations in one summer....be thankful, count ur blessings.

i agree to PS n Sara. not everyone can afford vacations n u don't hav to spend a lot to bound together. i think choti choti baton main u get more pleasure than spending on
hotelling n outing whole time.

when he's not around keep urself busy with things NJ and Zobia suggested. gossiping can b lots of fun too yeah :) or join a gym, go for a walk/jog , take a bath with music on.
connect with each other via frequent short phone calls, text msg him sweet words, chat on msn while @ work :) send a really funny joke. i used to stick funny notes inside my hubby's briefcase before he left so he can chk later n hav a smile. sometimes i would just leave a note on mirror with my lipstick for him to read while shaving. he thought it was so immature but he did enjoyed it.send him greeting cards once a while. arrange candle lights @ home. there's so much more u can do.
Is there any chance u guys meet up for lunch n go back to work?
how abt u take a nap for 1-2 hrs right after work n sleep a lil late at night. try to cuddle or connect b4 u sleep.
