NYC & Lahore are two different cities, two different cultures & two different societies are living in them. There is no comparison. You are the lucky one who has a choice to live either in Lahore or NYC. Why compare ... choose one.

depends on your situation...i worked in america for about a year...i had to wake up early morning and often come home late..that was pretty exhausting..heree i do business... its not that stressful i go to bed when i want to and wake up when i want to....the only problem no clubs to go out to ...not many women to date

Najim yeah.. i guess no point in comparing.. as for when in rome do as romans do, I think its a bit easier if u spetn a significant part of ure life in that rome, like if u grew up there rather than visiting Pakistan every other year for a few weeks..

When they say life is easier in Pak is from the point of - how certain things are accomplished there when earining living. In N.america there are rules for "everything". Over there its all up for grabs. Rules don't apply ... at all. Again - it more of getting used to , not having to follow rules for EVERYTHING that makes it easier there.
Life's attitude in general is laid back
and
Friend's family and social bondings are of more importance and closer.

I thot it wud be harder to get a decent job n stable career here, since everything is based on who u knw rather than ur own merits?
I guess its all mindset.. theoretically I like NA better,coz of the freedom n stuff.. i mean its wht I grew up with.. (well sorta not really) so its hard to shake it off

thats wat exactly happened to me when i went back home... i didn't like it at all.. no privacy watsoever.....had to out shoppin with guyz (brothers, cousins) coz dado said good girls don't go out alone... :s

I had the same problem w/ the driver dependence and it is mainly because I don't know the way around Karachi so I cannot just catch a cab and tell them to take me to Tariq Road cuz more than likely they'll drop me off at some remote location and kidnap me :p If I was living in KHI all my life then I won't have that dependence on other people to take me around.
