Sheryl Sandberg recently posted a message on her Facebook page that suggests she had to re-think the perspective she projected in her popular book “Lean In” after her husband passed away and she was forced into the life of a single mom.
While I did not read the book, mainly because I took issue with her opinion to begin with, I am left wondering how interesting it would be if authors would revisit their writings after life changing events.
Thank you Sheryl for doing this. And thank you for publicly recognizing that advice doled out to career-minded women in supportive relationships do not face the same challenges single moms or women in unsupportive relationships do.
