Application deadline: March 31, 2004.
Type of work: X-RAY
Length of prog: 24 months
Tuition: $4000 for the entire program
Financial aid: Tution fee could be forgiven if student agrees to work for Kaiser for 2 years. Workforce Investment Bureau (WIB) may also offer full financial aid.
Pre-req: High-school completion AND 1 year of algebra plus Human Anatomy & Physiology with a lab.
Assessment Exam: Students need to take an assessment test in order to be admitted to this program. The test could be taken at the time of submitting application, the deadline for which is March 31st. If you fail the assessment test the first time, you may retake it, but you must take a gap of one week. Hence, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to turn in the application immediately, as the DEADLINE for application and the ASSESSMENT EXAM is MARCH 31st.

  1. NUCLEAR MEDICINE PROGRAM:
    Application deadline: March 31
    Type of work: Using radioactive rays to track and treat various organs and diseases.
    Length of prog: 18 months
    Tuition: $4000 for the entire program
    Financial aid: Tution fee could be forgiven if student agrees to work for Kaiser for 2 years. Workforce Investment Bureau (WIB) may also offer full financial aid.
    Pre-req: 60 college credit units with a GPA of 2.75, including 3 units each in General Biology, Chemistry, English, Algebra and Human Anatomy & Physiology with a lab.
    Assessment Exam: Students need to take an assessment test in order to be admitted to this program. The test could be taken at the time of submitting application, the deadline for which is March 31st. If you fail the assessment test the first time, you may retake it, but you must take a gap of one week.
