get rid of the contact email, ph num, pictures & thing in ur place that would remind of the hurtful relations.
devise a resilience plan which may include the following:
eat less, exercise more. drink more cold water, frequently. so that u stay in good shape and healthy.
join a class on philosophy, Sikhism, Sufism, or painting.
listen to instrumentals or even songs in diff. languages, from diff. cultures.
sometimes, when we like something that we cannot readily understand, it makes us feel good and comfortable. it is a neutral ground.
invite people with very young kids over so that u get to see the innocence in them and learn to be care-free to a reasonable extent by playing with kids, taking care of them, and learning to be responsible. that way.
save ur resources - money, time and health & invest in something lasting like property.
when really upset or stressed, feeling like just staying in bed, bored and sad, take a hot-cold shower.
and if the weather is nice out, go for a walk before meals.
get a pet - fish, parakeets, kittens, dogs & take care of them.
keep ur home/ office clean and organized ur cluttered outside may reflect ur inner fragmentation and that is not healthy.
on weekends in the afternoon or evenings, go out a good beach, to browse shops, to take things off of ur mind.
meet up a good friend or friends and have dinner or coffee in good company.
read books, that empower ur spirit in terms of logic and acceptance of the past - read v. good philosophy books & train ur mind to think positively.
focus on work and impact the society in good ways.
