Re: Life after death

You tell a fetus that this dark, dingy and wet goo that you are living in is temporary, and you real life starts after you slip into a more open and brighter world, and he will look at you like you are a lunatic.

Re: Life after death

fetus has no idea. nor does it care. it just wants to survive and take in nutrients and grow.

Re: Life after death

if it has no idea, it can't really ''want'' anything too,......its built in mechanism then ..no??

Re: Life after death

How do you know? Maybe the consciousness of fetus works at different level that science of this world cannot prove or comprehend (or care about)

Re: Life after death

^actually science cares a whole lot about what the fetus is up to.

Re: Life after death

Peace philosophy

I’m afraid you have it all the wrong way round. The existence without a god is this life … It is because in this life we are distanced from Him and we can approach Him only by surrendering our dominant senses and opening up our inner visions and becoming sensitive to the spiritual element inside each of us.

Before life and after it we all of a sudden become very much with (in the proximity of the knowledge that there is) God.

The dead will be questioned in their graves and there could be some grave punishment or the graves can be made wide and cool … The people will be resurrected and feel as if they only spent a few nights in the grave … It means they experience time very differently to us.

Re: Life after death

I hear same argument form anti abortion people in the US. Many people argue that life begins at conception, well does it really? To me, fetus does not have conscience or awareness of its own existence...its just a biological & physiological process of becoming a person that could eventually survive outside womb...

Re: Life after death

In my understanding, it's not even that. The total life of this world and grave included will feel like a day or part of a day:

23:112 He (God) will say, “How many years *did you stay on the earth?”

**23:113
* They will say: “We stayed a day or part of a day....”

Re: Life after death

Hi there,

I will copy paste my response from another thread here:

It is speculated by some in the field of biology that in the lingering moments before you die, your body releases DMT. The same chemical that apparently makes you dream. The same chemical composition that is found in every living animal. It’s not an evolutionary trick to help you survive. Your body is choosing to release this drug now because it believes your fate, is too grim for you to comprehend. So you dream. You dream that everything will be fine. You dream that nothing happened at all. It’s in this moment that your body sits across from you. It tells you: Looks like we’re not going ot make it this time. It shares a moment with you as you recollect the past before soon parting ways back to the athomic ether.

Your body does this because it loves you. you have never met anybody like your body. your body has been with you everyday, good and bad. It’s even kept a journal of your life carved in scars. Your eyelashes always wiped the tears from your eyes, but now it all_____

this is just one poetic take on death. it amuses me.

Re: Life after death

Who wrote this poetic take on death which amuses you?

Is that you?

Re: Life after death

Sorry, forgot to quote.

Re: Life after death

That is because you from the brighter world have gone through the experience and know the reality. In other words, there is evidence in support of the argument (life after womb). Life after death is a different case. There is no evidence supporting it. Its a matter of belief.

Re: Life after death

You mean questions to the soul stay in grave of his/her dead body? or questions to a dead body?

Re: Life after death

Life after death IS purely a belief.

Dead people are doing whatever you want to believe they are doing. ;)

While presence of God has logical reasoning with indirect proof, life after death concept has no such proof.

Re: Life after death

afterlife speculation is belief, but your imaginary friend isn't?

Our Logical friend is very consistently logical.

Re: Life after death

lol

Let me repeat a different way:

There is plenty of indirect evidence for presence of God. ** You can never prove there is no God.** You are better off being an agnostic than atheist.

No direct or indirect 'proof' of afterlife since no one has come back after death or no experiment etc. has proven afterlife.
