Yes , this is right . Backbiting is one of the big sins in Islam . Nothing more than backbiting happens in Life 1 forum . So to save the Muslim brothers and sisters roza from getting spoiled Life 1 should be closed for Ramazan . It can be started again after Ramazan because that is one of the most entertaining of all the GS forums for some people , I am one of those.

I am not the who is backbiting , I am one of the voice of reason in those forums and I work on cooling down emotions there together with some other fellow citizens of GS.
I think we will be rewarded by Allah many times during Ramazan for doing so.

i emphasized on backbiting b/c i don't think all posters @ life 1 do that, they r those who've genuine reasons and have noone else to share it with , hence they come here and ask for advice , and i think there's nothing wrong with that
but for topics & stuff which i dislike or disagree with, or think r all made up , or crazy or out of this world or pointless or whatever , all i do is refrain myself from posting in them

not everyone backbites, personally i'll stay away from it, but the life forum is the one i visit frequently compared to other forums, it's not fair to close it cos of something OTHER poeple have done,dont make those of us who dont backbite suffer!!!

Don't be so serious, I opened it in GS just for some light convo on the topic . If I wanted serious discussion I would open it in Feedback or Religion forum.
