I get your point of view, but if someone (lets say a DIL since isn’t that generally the case) does vent/backbite here and is therefore calmer at home, which ultimately keep the peace in her house isn’t that sort of good? Also, a lot of the time people ask each other for advice (whilst venting) which I would hope helps them make the right decisions in their lives.
I haven’t really formed my own opinion on this yet though :S

I am confused too when i consider it back biting, coz no one really knows the person guppy is talking about.

I think DIL’s can change the approach they usually adopt to explain there problem. They can make it a general question i.e

What wud you suggest for such woman.

Whos Husband doesnt come back home at time, Has multiple gf’s, drinks, Beats his wife up, Only cares about his family. Doesnt let his wife out, beats his kidds up, does drugs, doesnt pray, curses 24/7 and so on…

And all of us guppies can suggest her the pain killer we suggest to every girl who has one any kind of itch
