well this is a major milestone of the goverment, pakistans favoirte market is being fixed up to international standards, this goverment has brought international standards to pakistan, and get a pat on there back.

the roads have been tiled up now for pedestrians only, with benchs and greenry added
car park has moved to the center and a new car park plaza has been made.
also there is a big entertainment center coming up in it, which will house a big cineplex, ice skating ring, bowling alleys, gaming machines and snooker.
also note that the punjab gov, is renovating all the markets, work has allready started on firdous market, barkat market and many more to make them on international standards
Last time I went, *Link Road *had some construction going on and is turning into another Liberty.
yes barkat market construction is going on fine and fast.
on link road i think they are relaying the road and putting a sewage system in place and then footpaths.
theres lots of plazas and shopping malls under constructuion there.
also noor jehan road has been completed and looks like florida.
work is gona start on mm alam road is well soon to turn it into a 6 lane road with lamp posts, footpaths and underground electricty, it will look like something from new york after its completed.
